How to Use Mystery Random Mode in ClosersForge Sparring
Once you can run all four buyer archetypes cleanly, the next question is: can you do it without being told who's on the call? That's what Mystery Random mode in ClosersForge Sparring is for.
What Mystery Random mode does
Mystery Random picks one of the four buyer archetypes (Bull, Owl, Lamb, Tiger) at the start of the session — and doesn't tell you which one. The AI plays the role consistently, gives no archetype hints in the UI, and reveals the buyer only after the session ends.
You're forced to read the buyer the way you'd read one on a real call.
When to use it
- After you've run each archetype with hints at least 3 times.
- Before any live cold-call block.
- As your daily warm-up — 1 Mystery session before any real prospect.
How to read the buyer in 60 seconds
- First 15 seconds: how do they greet you? Bulls cut you off, Owls ask why you called, Lambs say "sure, go ahead," Tigers test you.
- Next 30 seconds: how do they answer your first calibrating question? Short and punchy = Bull. Specific and probing = Owl. Vague and pleasant = Lamb. Story-led = Tiger.
- Final 15: confirm with one tiny push. Pressure-test their pace.
Then commit to the archetype and run the matching pitch.
What the post-session report shows
After a Mystery session, ClosersForge tells you:
- Which archetype the AI was actually playing.
- Whether you correctly identified them (based on which scripts you used).
- Buyer-fit score for the archetype you should have used.
- A "Keep Learning" link to the matching archetype lesson if your fit was weak.
The bottom line
Mystery Random is the gap between knowing the framework and using it. Run one a day for two weeks and live cold calls will start feeling slower than your training.

FAQ
Does Mystery Random penalize me if I guess wrong?
No. The session scores you on what you actually did, not on archetype-guessing. Wrong-archetype performance just shows up as a low buyer-fit score so you know what to drill next.
Can I see the buyer type mid-session?
No — that's the whole point. The reveal happens after.
How often should I run Mystery sessions?
Once you're proficient with each archetype, make at least 3 of your 5 weekly sessions Mystery Random.
