Closing different buyer personalities

Right close, wrong persona = no deal.

High-leverage, high-risk plays — only after the basics are automatic.

Bull — direct close. "Want to lock this in today?" No softening, no preamble. Owl — trial close + a specific next step. "If we did this, would the install timeline work?" Then: "I'll send the agreement and the proof doc — review tonight, sign tomorrow morning?" Lamb — alternative close that lowers the perceived stake. "Do you want to start with the smaller package first?" Plus a strong reassurance ("you can adjust anytime"). Tiger — assumptive close tied to vision. "Let's get you to [their stated outcome] — I'll start the paperwork."

Universal rule. Mirror the persona's energy on the close. Don't bring Bull energy to a Lamb close.

Pair with Buyer Personality Mode in ClosersForge.

Mini drill

In Pitch Practice, run the same scenario against all 4 personas. Notice your close adapt naturally by the 4th rep.
