The Sales Presence Checklist

Seven micro-moves before every pitch. Less than 60 seconds. Massive lift.

Foundational moves every closer should own first.

The Presence Checklist. Run this before every pitch, every call, every door.

  1. Sit or stand upright.
  2. Relax your shoulders.
  3. Keep your face calm and engaged.
  4. Place notes near eye level (so eyes don't drop).
  5. Slow down your first sentence.
  6. Choose one delivery focus (posture, eye contact, hands, pacing, tone, pauses, energy, confidence, calm objection handling).
  7. Take one breath before starting.

Why a single delivery focus works. Trying to fix everything at once = fixing nothing. Pick one lever per session and the body trains it.

Where to use it. ClosersForge surfaces this checklist before every Pitch Practice session. If your focus is "pacing" the system will weight pacing in your post-session feedback.

Key takeaway. Presence is a pre-game skill, not an in-game scramble. The checklist is the warm-up. Skipping it is showing up cold.
